Weekend and Yesterday

The weekend was busy for us and I should be posting some pictures up soon.  On Saturday Morning, we all went to Charlotte's Nature Center in Manchester to do an easter egg hunt with our friends and their son.  Lilah had a blast though she was getting cheeky by the end of it.  In our age group (0-3) all the kids had a good time and Lilah refused to be put down.  We instead carried her and at first she was picking up the eggs and putting them in the basket, but then we had to put the eggs in her hand and then she would put them in the basket, and lastly she was throwing everywhere but the basket.  Well she got some eggs and we went back to the Nature Center where there were some interesting displays and some bones for the kids to look at.  Lilah got a piece of candy but that was taken away from her when she shoved the whole thing in her mouth.  After that, we all went home and Lilah and I cleaned up the house while David went to his granddad's to help out there.  We actually got some work done at the house, we cleaned up the living room some (before Lilah destroyed it again), we gathered clothes together in a pile for the thrift shop, folded some clothes, and a few other things.  Lilah was being clingy so we did not get a bunch done but at least we got something completed!

On Sunday, David went to help his granddad while Lilah and I went to Brodie and Christine's to hang out for a bit.  Lilah really loved it there with her cousins and it's amazing how much they've been growing!  We ended up staying there for dinner and Lilah was running around with them and having a ball.  For dinner, Lilah and the boys (Matthew, Christian and Nicholas) had pizza while the grownups had tilapia with rice and asparagus.  Once we got home we had a lot to do but Lilah would not take a nap.  So, once we got everything done, we were in bed by 10:00pm.

Yesterday, when I picked Lilah up from daycare, Sarah told me all about how Lilah was a bully!  There is a new 3 month old baby and Lilah kept trying to play with her toys and getting into the bouncer where she was.  She was also messing with some signs and when Sarah told her "no" she looked right at Sarah and said "yes."  This went on for a while and Lilah also started speaking Russian to her (Sarah had no idea what she was saying).  Lilah also has this habit of random yelling and growling at people (I blame me) and has been doing that there.  When we got home, Lilah was on a rampage to destroy the house!  She was throwing toys, chasing the dogs, and wanting to be hugged.  I really wish she would stop trying to drink the dog water.  She now will not go straight for the dog food or water, she will first go around the kitchen pretending she does not want it, and then go for it like we did not see her do it.

Today, she was clingy when I dropped her off but that was mostly due to sleepiness.  She is apparantely going on an excursion to the Washington Zoo with the whole day care.  I hope she will have a lot of fun and I hope they take pictures.
