Petting Zoos...Slides, and Goats, and Rabbits OH MY!!!!!

Here is an update from the Johnson family!

On Friday, we decided to have an adventure and go to Ellioak’s Farm/Petting Zoo.  There, they have all the exhibits from Enchanted Forrest including all the slides.  Lilah had a complete blast.  We first went through all the exhibits and then she lost her mind when we saw the animals because as you know Lilah LOVES animals.
She got to go into one the pens and pet some so she was super happy about that.  Then she got to see the Finnish Giant Rabbits which were the size of a large cat, but they get as big as a medium sized dog (e.g. Emma the beagle).  Lilah had a blast telling us all about them and she was very serious when describing all of them.  After that, we got to see horses and she petted them on the nose.  Lastly, Lilah went nuts feeding all the mini goats.  All-in-all she just had such a fun time.  Rodger just hung around but he thought the animals were interesting.  He mostly wanted to be snuggled.

Here are some pictures from our trip!

After our trip, we went and had lunch with David’s dad, granddad, and his mom.  Lilah was devastated to see Grandma go away.  But we calmed her down by telling her we would see her later so that pacified her.

Saturday and Sunday we didn’t do too much but Lilah helped David clean…while wearing sunglasses!

I swear Lilah is becoming such a trip!  She getting so sweet too, she loves helping out with Rodger.  By the way Rodger...I never sent his updated measurements.  At his 4 month appointment, he weight 17.12lbs (66%), 26.5 inches (81%), and head was 43.2cm (76%).  So, it seems he put all his growing efforts into his head!  But he already had some major growth spurts though, and the last one I calculated at was at 28 inches.  He is definitely one growing boy.  We also signed Lilah up for dance class and she will be starting classes September 14th!  We have an outfit with tutu and she will look so cute ^_^
